Effective April 1, as CEO of OGE Energy's unregulated businesses, Delaney will have oversight over natural gas transportation, storage, gathering and energy marketing operations. As executive vice president of OGE Energy, he will direct the corporation's risk management and strategic planning activities.

He brings more than 20 years of energy industry experience to OGE Energy, most recently serving as managing director at UBS Warburg, a leading global investment banking and securities firm. Delaney has specialized in corporate finance for electric and natural gas utilities, independent power producers and other energy concerns.

For nearly a year, Delaney has worked on an extensive operational review of OGE Energy's unregulated businesses, as well as a review of the strategic focus of those businesses. Delaney's first order of business will be to oversee the implementation of the results of the reviews.

Delaney, 48, holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Virginia and a master's degree in business administration from Tulane University. He and his wife, Karen, have two children.

OGE Energy, parent company of Enogex, the natural gas pipeline with principal operations in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas, also is the parent company of Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company (OG&E), a regulated electric utility serving retail customers in Oklahoma and western Arkansas, and wholesale buyers throughout the mid-continent region.
