OG&E customers: Purchase an electric vehicle for $10,000 off

Limited-time promotion available to OG&E customers on 2017 Nissan LEAFs

OKLAHOMA CITY — OG&E today announced that its customers are eligible for an exclusive offer from participating local Nissan dealerships on the 2017 all-electric Nissan LEAF. Fenton Nissan and Bob Howard Nissan each will offer a $10,000 incentive to OG&E customers.

How to get the deal
This incentive is available on a first-come, first-serve basis through June 30, 2017 at Fenton Nissan and Bob Howard Nissan. Just show a current OG&E electric bill and a copy of the incentive flyer from oge.com/events.

"With electric vehicle ranges exceeding an estimated 100 miles (on average, Americans drive less than 30 miles each day), more families are clearing garage space for an electric vehicle (EV), with many making it their second car," said Damian Herd, electric vehicle business development manager at Nissan North America. "EV owners have minimal maintenance cost, making the total cost of ownership much less than with internal combustion vehicles," she added, "and with federal tax credits of up to $7,500, along with this incentive, the final purchase price is significantly lower."

OG&E Vice President Sales & Marketing Ken Grant said Nissan has been a great partner with OG&E on local awareness efforts like ride and drive events. "They are committed to growing the awareness and availability of EVs in Oklahoma and across the country," Grant said. "We also have several Nissan LEAFs in our fleet of pool vehicles, and we expect to continue building our fleet of energy-efficient electric vehicles over the next several years."
